Internal Audit ESG

ESG implementation is currently one of the most important projects for many companies over the coming years. Extensive standards have to be met and business potentials through new products and markets can be realized. This is especially true for traditional banks, asset managers and FinTechs, which have to meet particularly extensive specific standards of the Sustainable Finance agenda.

Internal Audit should play a central role in ensuring the consistent and targeted integration of ESG into almost all corporate processes. We expect that auditing the ESG implementation will be one of the focus topics of the Internal Audit department in the coming year.
